How come the file size is so low? When I tried to upload it it was around 10mb then I needed to download xml file – zip it – again upload it. Still it was around 3.5 mb: http://www.3dvia.com/XQH_XXX/models/5F0A815567794B5D

This is a different model made with a different program, which may be why the file size is so low. It may also be because of the size of your textures, how much details you add, etc.

Model made with Google sketchup actually reduce the size?? the kmz format is better compressed than xml format of shape??? I am confused now. I thought the vice versa.

No tomy in my case texture is not the issue. My strong believe is that it may have caused due to revolve tool of shape that I must have over used. :(
