Fundamentals

A 3DVIA Studio project is the authoring equivalent of a particular 3D experience: the project assembles all the elements required by the 3D experience.

When authoring your experience, the elements of your project will be classified as stages, templates and actors:

  • Stages will allow you to organize your project according to physical, logical and memory reasons.
  • Actors are authoring entities that gather what will be visible and/or running when the experience is played.
  • Templates are sharable elements that will allow you to create similarly defined actors either statically during authoring or dynamically at runtime.

You will be using resources stored in assets to create actors and templates.
