I was thinking on the sci-fi serie “The Lexx” where you see a very dedicated small insect ornitopter vehicle perform a task for its master..
I just loved that little bug (it was not a dragonfly)…
Also in the Lexx they used Insect ornitopters to move around with both inside the lexx and to get to planets..
Science has worked with this ide for several years now and there is made small model there fly like and insect..
On model hobby sites (not 3d) you can find several dragonfly ornitopters made by skillfull people some which even flys..
The Ornitopter dosnt have steerings controls like in the lexx they are completly computer controlled and the operator uses voice commands to direct it..
When you render this one with a nice backgrounds picture this model just looks amazingly good…

oh,by the way,i receive lexx on a chanell called AXN sci-fi and i find lexx not to interesting,maybe even idiot…how can travel that huge insect the Universe with no stargates/warp speed/starbursts and others?
This is a model, not a show.
I most say i loved the lexx or lets say i loved the start of it the 3 first movies before it became a tv serie..
the 2 start movies “i worship the shadow” was fantastic great storie and amazing sci-fi pictures..
but when it became a serie it begun to be boreing and even foolish so i most admit that i stopped after a while seeing it..
And sorry i forgot the squirrel but this time i actually made it whitout thinking on a squirrel model..
and i most admit that i am running out of squirrel idees and as you may have noticed so have i moved to the fantasy world’s amazing images…
and for the moment i am working on dragon themed models and mainly dragon / Trolls / Ogre and Beasts heads..
ok,but the lexx still hasn’t have a fast-traveling method…but i admit -zev is funny by loving a zombie…errrr…i mean that brunnen-G(i don’t remind him right now)but the others from crew are also funny-519 and stanley h. tweedle
the brunnen is kai and the robot is 719…my misstake,sorry
