Just finished these Rotor Blades for my Kamov Ka-50 Sady’s Dream with Interior..
Thought they would be nice to have as a singel Model..

Tryed to go in Alfredix Footprints when making these and make all details..
tthis model is actualy also very lowpoly because of the use of Components and as a SKP file they only fills 300kb

these rotor blades is also used on the kamov ka-27 helicopter..

Excellent, Smike. I like the “manufactrued by” decal on the blades :)
Details are just great.
I am not so sure about the “LowPoly”. The model is not usable in Shape, becasue it is over the 2MB limit. Has this something to do with the 3DS format?

thanks Alfredix

If you noticed in the comments does these only fill 300kb as a sketchup file.
it is the converting to 3ds which makes it grow.
its because i have build it up using components (a clone of one item) and in sketchup it only saves the value of one item all copies/clones is then made from that so even if you have 10 copyes of and item it only use a few kilobytes to save the cordinats..
but when converted to a 3ds file all components is created as a singel item using full space.
i have a model called airfield in the sky which fills 6.5 mb as a sketchup file.
but converted to 3ds it fills 24 mb..
thats why its not uploaded here

Hi Smike, I thought so. this is a common problem when you translate from one format to another.
