Oil Tanker

Since i most admit that i like making ships i have started on making some of the many commercial ships like Oil tankers, Container ships, Cargo ships and other kinds of transport vessels..
This is the first one a Oil Tanker..
It is not made with a special vessel as model but is a mix of different oil tankers.
i searched for pictures óf oil tankers and then made something from many of them..
The Crane is a Liebherr standard ships crane..
the ship size is around 175 meters in lengt a standard for most of the oil tankers in the world..

I’m a sucker for ship models and this is another really nice one smike! Even the life preservers are there!

great there was someone there noticed my oil tanker.
i was also very disapointed that nobody commented it since i like it a lot..
i also love (to make) ship models and is working on several at the moment..
a ordinary container ship.
A bulk carrier with its own cranes..
a ocean fishing trawler..
this is all ships i make by looking on pictures of many of the ship types and add some things fomsome of them..

and then i am working on making two exact ship models after a specifik ship..
the first one is Emma maersk the biggest container ship in the world (and iis a danish ship)
the second one is a saipem pipe laying vessell..
these models is more diffucult since i try make them look as close to the original as i can..
with emma maersk i yesterday was so lucky to find a hobby model builder website thee is working on a scale model and have collected and incredible amount of data and pictures of the ship..
he has provided me with a ton of data and pictures of the ship..(and he is danish)..
