Aircraft: 50 SBD Dauntless and 40 wildcat Fighters (Air Group 5, October–December 1943)
Crew: 2,600+ (ship’s company + air wing, as designed)

Wow! You’ve outdone yourself with this one. The detail is excellent. I’m confused by the specs – 4 shafts, but only 2 props? Were there transfer boxes or some other way of combining the power? Just a nit. I can’t get over how much there is to see!

Sorry for the answering time..
The 2 missing props is my fault i had to cut down on the file size of the converted file so i deleted 2 of them + 6 aircrafts
Didnt thought anybody would notice it..
Some details is also removed like the railings on the elevator…
All the details is in the .SKP model..

Great job smike, I served aboard a ship in the early ’60s that tied up across the pier from the Yorktown when she was in port. Tnx 4 the memories!
