A standard cannon on us coast guard cutter ships.
the cannon is controlled from a weapons control room and is fully automatisk..
the cannon is getting its granates from a ammunitons storage under the cannon with a granade loader elevator system..
i made a simpel version of the loader just to illustrate the system..
the hatch door can be open or closed using the hidden layers

Don’t be fooled by the thumbnail – open the model and then go around back and inside the cannon! Amazing detail smike – excellent!

been there,done that
a new version is in product in sweeden(wich,in case,is near to you).it can fire up to 3 different types of amunition,changing them in about a second(he,airburst and avertisaion)
i saw on futureweapons :-j

yes the future is amzing in the devoloment of new weapons..
but for this cannon to be able to do what you say it has to a lot bigger to get rome for the loaders..
its incredible that they can get the ammo loading to be so fast..
