Nice craft… “blast form the past”
Few thing that I noticed… Props seem to be different… and the pilots’ seats are preety uncomfortable :)

forgot to say that this is the Spirit of Carnauba..

S. C. Johnson’s Herbert Fisk Johnson, Jr. –
Explored the northeastern part of Brazil in search of the carnauba palm, and to research carnauba wax,
the source of the world’s hardest natural wax.
The “Spirit of Carnauba”, a replica of this aircraft, exists and is flying today.

the props is made after pictures of this craft and so is the pilot seats.

That’s a beautiful plane. It looks more like a boat with various bits added on so it will fly. The abrupt end of the passenger cabin really looks bizarre. You did a great job on the interior!

The new fixes have been released, so we are now seeing all of the parts of your model! Wahoo! Did you intend for the reference image to remain in the model?

i think that what you calls the reference picture is a picture of the aircraft’s bottom which is placed a little bit under the watersurface to give the illussion of the aircraft been mirroed by the water surface..

the water is slightly transparent so it looks like the reflex of aircraft on the water surface seen from above..

it looks great in sketchup

oh and note seat belts was not used in that time they first appear with the s-39 version
and i missed one detail from the original one and that is that the cabin windows actually have curtins inside

and because of the black hull the pilot doors is not seen
and i have just noticed i forgot the wheels up/down leaver controls

Oh, now I get it. The water doesn’t show up in the 3DVIA Player, so I don’t see the effect you intended. Thanks.
