This is a Ambylance Aircraft seen in one of the sereniti Episodes…..
It’s an atmospheric vessel with 4 small thrusters ther can be turned around.
And 2 middle thruster on the top and one big rocket engine in the rear….
It can carry 2 pilots and 2 nurces/passengers + 2-3 sick persons..(i actually dont now how many there can be inside since it is not seen in the episode)
Or if the person strecher/cage underneath is the only place for a sick person…
AND AGAIN it looks great in the Google Sketchup format but the animation makes it look black some places…
It is not black anywhere but completly white with the logo on the side..

Regarding your remarks about black rendering. All materials in the 3DS file have their ambient color set to black. So, depending on the lighting and the camera locations, the material may appear black. Did you expect to get such a black ambient color, or could it be the way the Google Sketchup 3DS exporter works ?
Have you tried to upload this same model as a KMZ file instead of 3DS ?
Looks white with the fresnel shader…
If you switch to KMZ files (Google Earth 4), the 3D model and the textures will be bundled in a single archive. This way you can update directly the 3D model and the textures with a new version of the KMZ archive all at once. I noticed you had to re-upload the EA Mammoth class Heavy Transport to get the updated textures right. Let us know if you give it a try!

no i have thought about the kmz files a lot of times but i like 3ds and most people want a 3ds file..
but the sereneti i will try uploading in kmz to see the difference.
i think it is google sketchup not converting them properly to 3ds..
but there is also some errors in the updating of a model on this site since no matter what i did with both the kutai and the mammoth worked…
