when searching for images of interessting ships i found this site..

Where they have a huge collectiopn of ship models (not 3d but hand made)..
one of the things they spezilized in is U.S Coast Guard Ships and WOW they have many..
when looking at all these very very nice models i just wanted to make a coast guard ship..
after some reserch i desided it should be a tug boat (try serching for tug boats and you will discover that there is many many kinds of tugs..
by using all the great models as referance material i made this Salvage Tug Boat..
its not a specifik ship but buildes with a salvage tugs spizifications and then steal (make) different parts from all those great ship models on Motions models site..

this is one of those rare model i just could not take a break from since it was so interesting to do..
and its amzing how many different items a coast guard ship has...

stangely enough is the tug boat one of the coast guards common ships wich they should have many of..
but i searched for ever after coast guard tug boats and have still only found them on hobby model sites..
not at any of the coast guard sites at all..
so i had to search for just tug boats and then make it a coast guard ship...
