Two models can share the same texture (so you can gain some space on your account). This has also a drawback: if two models use their own texture with a common name, there are risks of overlapping.
These risks are reduced if you upload the model and its texture within a single zip file: the model will first look at the files in the zip before looking at your previously uploaded files.
