Thanks Don!, I just thought it would be cool to put a 8 ball on it because it’s a 8 string guitar :) ..Yeah, every once in awhile I like to put my Sands Guitars logo on some of the guitar models i design.

Duh! I missed the connection completely :P Time to reboot.
You should put your logo on all the guitars you design yourself. Build yourself a brand name and then go make ‘em for real :D

I live in a apartment now and people don’t like hearing band saws and sanders running…So now I just repair and modify them (much less noise).
I made a few guitars in the past, here' one of them

I know what you mean about the noise, I’ve made a lot of sawdust myself and no one likes the noise except other artists.
Thanks sandman! You picked a great one to make!

Our family still uses a cast aluminum ice cream scoop that my brother made in shop class – it works great! Better than any store-bought version we’ve ever had.
That is just too funny!

Yeah, I asked my wood shop teacher if I could make a guitar, and he said no. Little did he know that the bookshelf I made would (a few years latter) become a guitar :D …It was just as I planned it.
Actually, he was a great wood shop teacher. My father had him when he was in high school 30 years earlier. he had him in 1958 and I had him in 1988.

Great job making a plan, keeping the peace and then doing exactly what you wanted to do LOL!
That’s funny that you and your dad had the same shop teacher! Good shop teachers are hard to find, but they can make a huge difference in a student’s life. More power to them!!!

Beautiful, as always sandman! Is “Sands Guitars” with the 8 ball logo your own company?

Thanks!, you know that guitar I made started out as my high school wood shop project. It was originally a mahogany bookshelf.
That is just too funny!
