A fictional vision of the eventual succsessor to the HMMWV (Humvee). This vehicle is 5 feet longer and one foot wider than the HMMWV. It has increased ground clearance and extensive sloped armor on the underside to protect against mines and road level improvised explosives. It can seat 5-7 troops and carry all of their equipment. It is armed with a MK.19 40mm automatic grenade launcher in a fully enclosed armored turret. It is intended to be used primarily as and urban assault/patrol vehicle but would be capable of rough terrain and cross country travel as well.
