Nice work, you should try using sketchup to make your guns, its like 3dvia shape but it has more tools so you can add more details, check it out here http://sketchup.google.com/

We certainly don’t want to lose you sady! I was referring to big improvements coming in the modeling software – 3DVIA Shape – which will allow you to do much more :D.

why is sady so important, are a lot good models on other sites?

Each member of the 3DVIA is important. Each of us brings a different perspective that we can all learn from. The whole point of 3DVIA is to help us enjoy and learn from 3D modeling.

Yes, there are other sites for lots of good 3D models. A quick search can help you find some.

and if i leave i won’t do the same mistake mvc made…and what do you mean by ‘why is sady so important’ ?!who is talking, you didn’t uploaded anything yet!

and what i want from the easter 3dvia bunny:
-copy/paste feature
-xy,xz,yz inverting(like skechup)
-cones and rotation stuff objects
-lower space-occuping models

oh,and ,wow, someone talks badder than me english!

mvc is still a friend! No mistakes, just choices.

As for the Easter bunny…I don’t want to spoil the surprises…

You can copy/paste features now in 3DVIA Shape as long as you make the feature separate from the main model. Then ctrl c>ctrl v>space bar will show you the orange anchor points that you can select (one) to use to snap attach your new feature to the main body.

As far as your English, just imagine if I tried Romanian!! You do a great job!

Hopefully, you’ll get some candy too…

nowadays,i seen a movie on youtube by bostondave, wich he used copy/paste!how?!and the selectbox was dragged over a face, wich is impossible, because the face would be selected itself, without anything else.if you don’t belive me,search it

To copy and paste:
1. Click on the mouse tool. Click and drag your mouse over what you want to be copied.
2. Press Ctrl and while doing that press C. This will copy what is selected.
3. Let go of the two buttons. Press Ctrl and while still doing this press V.
4. Move your mouse around until you find a spot for something you like.

@sady2 – I couldn’t find the video, so I just tried to do it myself and it worked! This model ( http://www.3dvia.com/dswavely/models/5CCF00526476485A ) shows the steps I used to copy-past faces and features.

Let me know if it doesn’t make sense.
