That is what helps make Shape so powerful. We can share models and have fun creating new things! Other people get to see their models used in new ways. It’s great! Do some more!
i’d do some more,but less people are allowing 3d remix to use the 3d program at maximum potential,not improvizating :(
I’ve had good results sending a message to the owner and asking them to chnage their settings so that I can use their model. Usually they’re happy that someone likes the model. Give it a try.
sady: There are some other restrictions on models that can be used in remix unfortunately. Here is an excerpt from the Shape FAQ:
1. The 3DXML version of the model must be under 2MB. If you upload in another format, we will convert it to 3DXML and you must use the converted model’s size as your guideline. 2. If your model is 3DXML to begin with, the 3DXML must be version 4. Note that currently SolidWorks and 3DVIA Printscreen do not meet this criteria. 3. You must choose the Creative Commons Attribution license for your models. This license is selected by default. 4. The model cannot contain any Targa or Tiff textures. 5. If the model is from 3DVIA Shape, the “Remix” option must be set to true. 6. The model must be set to public to be findable by all users. Only you have access to your private models.Thanks zaireeka, for adding that information :)

but every time i save a downloaded model,i try to open it in 3dvia,log in,but nothing shows there
no,,unable to connect” or ,,invalid user or password blah blah blah”
