Modeled it for my father so that he could explain what we had in mind for the basement (does not exist today). There is another posting with just the basement. For the roofs we are trying to decide if we stay with the original (beams) or if we change to the a double sided roof. The house is in the french alps.

Ahh, that makes good sense now. I’ve done similar things for my family’s home. Modeling it and showing it to the family allows a greater feeling of what it could be like and also a better idea of what construction problems might show up. Have you moved on to building it yet?
