Aha! It says it can run on Firefox, Netscape, Safari or Camino, and on Apple MacOS X (at least 10.3.9). It is detecting what computer you have with Javascript. But then what is mynameisoscarjo’s problem?

I can finally say something again, now that I have spoken to one of the key developers and he was using his mac at the time.
The definitive answer is: “Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.” As the 3DVIA Player is developed, the mac support sometimes gets “broken” for awhile.
Not the best answer, but at least you know you’re not going crazy.

The sad truth is that it works on some macs some of the time. It depends on what stage the software is in. Mac bits seem to be updated last. We are trying to increase the Mac support as best we can.

Very nice! The color is great and they look much better in the 3DVIA Player than in the thumbnail.
yeah…whatever…the atv was better
The 3DVIA player doesn’t work for me. :(
You may have to do an uninstall and reinstall of the 3DVIA Player. Which browser are you using?
Safari 3.1.2., I have 3dvia player installed, so I should uninstall and reinstall the player to get the player work?
I have a mac by the way
power pc ;D
As it says on the install page, you must use
Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape
and use
Windows (2000, XP or Vista)
Thanks Tomy! I couldn’t have said it better myself. Unfortunately, Macs are not yet supported.

Obviously I need to get my facts straight before I say anything else – sorry!
Well, you know I am good at websites, maybe I’ll see if it is detecting the kind of computer you have.

I USED to have a mac, Virtools doesn’t work there either I think. Windows is way better.
The problem is that when I press play 3d everything gets white. :S
Don’t you wish 3dxml player was still supported? Well, are you using that version of Mac? Try emailing 3dvia with a bug report.
