Exquisite surfacing! Your models should be an inspiration to anyone learning Blender to keep going!!
I agree with you that It is indeed one of the most beautiful cars in quite some time.
Thanks! Very kind words!
Waiting for the WIP tag to come off… but liked it so much that you already have my 5 stars :) indeed a great job on surfacing….
Hope you don’t run out of space this time… good luck…
it is one of the good looking cars in recent times…
Thank you abu roadking!
I’m still working on squeezing mynameisoscarjo’s exquisite Koenigsegg model down to size – I have not given up! I will use what I learn there for this beauty too (I hope).
Oh, i thought you have given upp!
No way! It is too good a model and I’m learning too much. It is taking more time than I expected, sorry.
Well, thank you for your work :) When i zip the blend file with the textures packed, it gets a file size of 9 MB, but i can’t upload it :(
That’s because the size of the 3dxml file is still the same.
it keeps getting better and better…
To better appreciate the difficulty of the task that Oscar has taken on, check out this Wikipedia article – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alfa_Romeo_8C_Competizione – or do an internet search and find other pictures of this gorgeous car! Keep going Oscar!
When i try to upload : Some arguments missing for command
:(
Has this same thing happened before or is this something new?
Something new
Worked now :)
Excellent progress! Glad that it uploaded properly this time. :)
Now i have made wheels, will update tomorrow :)
Wow, you move fast! I better get some things figured out fast too, if it ends up being too large to upload. It still looks good (size-wise) so far. It looks excellent every other-wise! :)
Wow, thats a black model…
It’s about as black as it gets :)! Did you want it to be black?
hmm that is pretty black.
Also where did you learn to add images to you models? ive watched a few tutorials, and it just wont happen for me. and im watching tutorials for the right version, its just not coming along to well. please help, if you know any tutorials
It’s not hard att all :) I’ll send a message to you :)
that’s better
That does look much better! The windows look funny in that color. Could they be a little darker? picky, picky, picky :)
That was quick! It definitely looks better now (to me at least). :D
Now you can see details in the front lights too :) Now there is only the interior left.
Now the 3dxml size is 1.92 MB, so everybody who wants to use this in shape, gotta download it now :)
WOW!!!! I’ve made a copy for personal use :) it is simply superb… AMAZING :)
My computer is sold, so i can’t work for a while
Yikes! Are you getting another one? How long will we be without your models? I hope it’s only a short while!
I’m going to buy a new iMac soon, i’m just waiting for a good one to come up. i can’t buy a new one because they are a lot more expensive than in USA.
You’re right about the pricing problem! But it will be worth the wait. My first computer was a Mac SE30, but since I’ve been in the CAD world, I’ve been on PCs :(
Poor you :( When the iMac was upgraded i a few months ago, the dollar was worth 9.3 swedish crowns(its normally around 7) so the price got very high:(
Wow! That hurts and really hurts on expensive items! Do you know anyone who’s taking a trip to the US soon? Maybe the customs duty would be less than the currency difference?
Nope don’t think so :( I’m buying it used instead
That’s a good idea! I hope that you’re up and running soon.
Wow!! Just to let you know, Mandun on the Google 3D Warehouse stole this model }:(
No he didn’t :) His car is more lowpoly and he is finished with it :)
Oh right that’s good to know :D
How much is 7 and 9.3 in Canadian dollars?
Congratulations mynameisoscarjo! Your model has been included in the 43rd weekly Top 10 models blog with pictures and links to your model.

Thank you!
You’re welcome. It is bellissimo!
WOW!!! great surfacing..I didnt look at it until I get a chance to look at top-10 models. Is it still W.I.P?
Yes it is :)
Great work on this Oscar!.. Also, I see your from Sweden?.. With the last name of Johansson you must be Swedish (I mean that in a good way) :D
You are working on this model for so long time if I consider the starting comment on this model page. It’s more than 3 weeks I guess. That’s pretty much work. Well done mate. I appreciate your effort & for showing stage by stage progress. Its a feeling like seeing a car is building in front of us :)
Yes, but for the last 2 weks i haven’t worked with it at all, because i have no computer. :( Yes i am from sweden. where are you from Sandman?
I’m from Hatboro, Pennsylvania USA
I was born in Atlantic City, New Jersey and I moved to Pennsylvania in 1982 and lived there ever since.
OK
The most beutifull car in the world 5 star
awesome car! 5 stars
And I use a PC. Actually I don’t think mynameisoscarjo thinks so but I think that Macs are pretty fast and have a high quality screen, but PCs can do more than a Mac. I guess it depends on what you are using it for.
Well, most designers prefers Mac. If you’re gaming, then buy a PC, if you’re not, I see no reason to buy a PC.
Just the interior left now
The exterior additions are looking really good. A couple picky things – the inside of the tires are red and the tire treads look like they’re stretching and blurring from the sidewall onto the tread itself. I’m looking forward to seeing the interior. :)
Will fix it.
:)
You have awesome models here.this car is beautiful
Thanks a lot!
