You’ve got another beauty in the works! You’re getting better every time now too. Great job! I know I’m eventually going to give you the full 5 stars so it might as well be right now. :)
(I keep bugging Juan about help on the Koenigsegg, but I guess I have no pull :) )

Ferrari has many colors which are routinely ordered. After Ferrari red (more of a blood red than a orgy-red) Fly Yellow is my favorite. Silver seems to be ordered fairly often too. They have even done green in the past. Not my favorite.

If you follow this link – http://www.ferrari.com/English/GT_Sport%20Cars/Pages/Carslanding.aspx – it will show the whole range of cars available. Pick one, click on “Configure”, wait for it to load and then move your mouse towards the bottom of the window and you’ll see the amazing range of colors available.

If i became the boss on this site, i should get some more servers, increase the maximum size to 20, or even 50 MB, get the 3D Player to work with Mac and get Bump Maps and Spec to work in it, Open GL 2.0, and show the pictures of recently uploaded models, so you can get a view of what have been uploaded recently, without click on each model.
Now my file size is 13 MB, cant upload it anymore.
Maybe you could increase the space for the users that upload many and big models, like smike, alfredix and sandman?

You’ve done an excellent job getting close to finishing this beauty. There does seem to be an odd gap between the rear window and the trunk though.
Extra space for modelers who use/need/deserve it has been discussed many times without a decision being made. I will bring it up again today at our weekly meeting and see if any progress has been made.

I just found out that fixing the Player for the Mac is already being done. We also have a concept for getting the most recently uploaded models onto the home page and there has been no progress (other than the heat that the community managers generate) towards increasing the maximum model size.
Thanks for your suggestions and compliments. That’s how we get better! :)
You're welcome.

I agree with dwavely it may not be done yet but it still deserves the full 5 stars.
My only gripe is the color – couldn’t it be Fly Yellow or something more exciting? The blue is OK, but it’s sort of stodgy for such a kick*** car!

I know that you’re still working on it, but if I may offer another suggestion, it would be about the wheels/tires. Cars look like they’re flying or on a mechanic’s lift with the suspension totally extended when the wheels/tired are centered in the wheel well. Your front tires are off more than your rear ones. Look at real cars and see how the weight of the vehicle pushes the wheel well center down past the tire center.
Going low-rider may not be such a great idea, but the car will have a more realistic stance if you make a little adjustment. Pay attention to the rake of the car as you do it. Usually the rear of the body is a little bit higher than the front.
All right, I’ll shut up now. :)

I think it looks much better – good job. Looking at the blueprint I can see what you mean about rake of the car. Just remember that the blueprint is just a guide. They have to draw it as closely as they can. You can take creative license and make it look even better. As far as I know there is no TUV for 3D models. :)
I like the web site a lot too, although their selection of older vehicles is a bit spotty and not always very well done. Then again engineering was a drafting board endeavor then, not a computer with 8-10 decimal place precision. :)

If you do too much of one thing that you enjoy it can get tiring. Maybe take a break and do something else for awhile. If I remember correctly, you also play the guitar. Maybe some time with a different type of creativity will give your “3D mind” some rest. Don’t force yourself. Then it becomes a chore.
Whatever you do, you should be having fun! :)

Back again, have made some more of the interior(not uploaded), looking good. Will finish the whole model, because the file size is over 10 MB, and I’ll let us tweak with the file size only once with this model, when i’m ready. I’t won’t take a long time :)

Well thank you, Don :)
You’re certainly welcome. Are you going to keep it silver or go with another color later?
Go with other color don, dont worry :)
Whoa – that was fast! I like it in the blue you’ve chosen! It’s gonna’ be gorgeous. :)
Some updates… Thank you Don, like the blue color too :) I have had 2 hours at the computer, pretty unusual for me. Now, sleepytime :)

Yikes, Oscar – we better get our size reduction routine down quick. You’re way faster than we are!

Great! Overall, this site is one of the best i know, and with the 10MB limit stretched, and the player fixed, it would be near perfect :)
The gap is fixed now, thanks for saying that :)

It worked now, without textures :)
Is the player for Mac working?
IT WORKS!!!
The little details make a big difference! :)
The player for the Mac is being worked on, but is not ready yet. :(
What works? The Mac player?
yes :)
Fantastic! I guess I’m always the last one to know. :D
I cant det up the menu, when i hold the middle mouse button thought
So, I guess that they are still working on getting the whole thing to work. At least you know that they’re making progress. :)

I know :) Still moddeling, haven’t thought so much about the color yet.

So, now the car is lowered :) I cant make the rear higher than the front when i’m working, cause then it doesn’t fit the blueprint.

Fooled again. :(

Thanks for making me feel better. :)
Ok, i have a problem. I’m feeling tired of 3D. How should I do to get inspired? I’m making much more than cars, so that’s not the problem.

Awesome Oscar!
Yes, thats my other interest, music. Will create some songs, take a break for a week. Solong :)
Sandman: Thanks a lot!
