Well what can we say? We found this footstool in an antiques centre in Ely, Cambridge and the owner of the place thought we were mad to buy it, yes even the owner. It was covered in a disgusting fun fur but we saw it's potential immediately. Being made from 4 ball and claw feet from an antique bath makes it very heavy. The chosen fabric to replace the awful fun fur was to be from Voyage which was a fashion store in London that was very particular about who they allowed through the door, hence the reason they eventually closed. This fabric - a faux leather with the most amazing gold embroidery - was made available to us from their stock. We love this piece beyond belief, it's quirky, fun and elegant all at the same time.
