The Barcelona chair is among the most elegant and imposing of the chairs designed by German designer Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969) which was developed for the German Pavilion at the 1929 International Exhibition in Barcelona. Our version of the Barcelona chair is absolutely top quality, the cushions are made from individual squares of full Italian leather, with leather backs (no 'leather match'), hand stitched buttons, concealed zips and full leather straps.
