Try the Fresnel shader. It makes the donuts look like they just came out of the oven.
Not too many of these up in the Northeast. They opened one in Medford, MA and it was a huge success for a little while until it eventually flopped. It’s definitely home turf for Dunkin’ Donuts around here.
I to prefer a real doughnut. They seem to do O.K. here in Ohio but are still considered a novelty item. lol.
There is a small bakery in a city nearby that makes the best doughnuts I have ever had. Get there first thing in the morning and they are still warm. I guess that is why you won’t find a single krispy kreme within the city limits. lol. But I thought it would make a good model. :)
5 Stars for making me drool all over myself. Of, course, the fact that it is lunchtime may have something to do with it. I agree that the best doughnuts are usually the local places that people pass along by word of mouth. The best doughnut I’ve had in my life came from a shop in the boonies of Rhode Island!
Some times I have dreams about doughnuts. lol.
Boy, that’s a hardcore jones when you dream about them. (I used to dream about hamburgers with onions and mustard when I was a kid – the things we dream about and remember are rather bizarre!) :)
yummy!
I could tell you about some other dreams I have had but I think 3dvia would revoke my membership. lol
Congratulations Matt! Your model has been included in the fourth weekly Top 10 models blog with pictures and links to your model!

I saw this in the Top 10, and I had to comment. I love seeing unique models. What great inspiration for a model.
thanks brother.
