sorry for the long time i have been gone..
had one more trip to the hospital which has helped it seems that they finaly have found out wath is wrong with my legs..

i also had to give up on microsoft and decided to reinstall my windows..
This resulted in that i also decided to upgrade my computers in the same time..
i finnaly finished it all to day and is ready to begin some modelling again..

and fter reinstalling my windows it passed microsofts pirate test and was okay..

nice to be back and start making models again..
its been a while so i have to find out what i was working on and that time..

i also have upgraded my sketchup to the new version so i am exited to find out how it is..
and most of all if it is more stable than the old version which had a bad habbit of crashing all the time..

i still have a lot of items to reinstall on the new computer but the time i have used on it is promising i can really feel the differents in the loading of programs and in the grafics work..

i am not finished with microsoft and the pirate software they install..
i am writing a complaint about it..

i found out that they had installed a program there atomaticlly connected to a microsoft server severel times each day.
they also tried to upload a coplete list of al files on my computer and what made me mad they also tried to upload my internet cache and my picture programs cache which is illegal..
it also suprised me to fiind out that all system icons and help files has a tiny bit of a program hidding in them which they is merging to there pirate program when the computer starts up..
and it is scary that they can scan your harddisks and connect to the internet whitout the user can see any trace of it
and that your firewall is bypassed and dont discovres it..
i had to make a program there kept an eye on the harddisk and notified my if any changes or work happent on them..
i then moved the hardisk to a other computer so windows was not activated which gave me acces to all the files they have blocked..
in this way i was able to find and save all parts of there pirate software and what it did…

I“m going through the same, a trojan got on my machine and rebooted while i was cleaning. It basically became one with my OS and I had to reformat. Decided to buy a new hard drive too. Almost back to normal but now my main drive letter is F instead of C so, I have to reformat again. BLah!

It is scary to think of what Microsoft and others can do without us ever knowing. It’s even scarier for you guys because you can detect and deal with it. The rest of us just bumble along thinking that everything is fine, but still wondering what is going on that we don’t know about.

dont you have acces to a second computer so you when a virus or trojan get in to your system you move the harddisk to the other computer as a slave and then scan the harddisk with whatever you use to fight malware with..
its the best way to remove any viruses or trojans in your system.
its a lot faster and since your windows is not activated the viruses is also not activated end easy to find and remove.
as long as the harddisk is set as a slave on the other computer no programs on it is activated and the virus program dont has to strugle trying to close the virus program and the virus program cant fight against any tryes to remove it..

about the drive letter you dont need to reformat the harddrive windows xp has a harddisk utillity program which can be found in your system32 directory and is called diskmng.exe (or something close to that a long time since i have used it)
with that program you can shange drive lettes and a lot of other things on your harddisks.

and yes don its easy for freaks like me to handle these things but 99.8 % of the computer users is lost there and thats what companys like microsoft is taking advancing of to do what they want with no respect for your privacy and peoples right to have private data and information on there computer..

Once our friend who lives far away told us they had a file on their computer that was a virus. So we came over to check, we got rid of the file, and the moment we deleted it, POP! The computer shut down. Our friends told us they had seen an ad that said the file was dangerous, but it was pretty obvious: the ad had said to delete a crucial file on their computer. And the ads can be very official looking. If you do see one, make sure you know exactly what your doing and maybe even research what the file does before deleting.

Yes smike, most of us are chickens just waiting to be plucked. :)
