Note: lasha_an, you can add a model to a group by going to that group and signing up. Then, next to the comments there will be a bar that says “Groups” and then you click “Add to Group”.
@tomy – Just because the file type is 3ds doesn’t mean that the model was made using Max or Maya. Lots of people use 3ds as an export format from the software product that they are actually using.
I try to ask what the actual software is so that other modelers know and if they use the same software, they have a new source to ask questions and learn from.
It is certainly OK to modify other people’s models, lasha_an, but you must give them credit, or you will have no respect at all within the 3D modeling community.
like this model???
Another beauty! I especially like that you included a driver, but kept the entire interior very low key, as though the windows were highly tinted.
What do you use for your modeling software? It looks like you got your textures to upload properly this time too.
There is also a Cars” group – http://www.3dvia.com/groups/group_home.php?groupId=8F96B38597A9BB8D – that you can join and add this too.
I like this site!!
Yay! We like your models and having you in the community!

Oh and nice model by the way, I like that light blue clour.
dswavely: Look at the stats and you will see it’s made in 3ds 3.0.
nice model, and what is 3ds 3.0?
Awesome, but something makes me think that it’s from the Google 3D Warehouse…
It is. You have to give the credit to the original modeller lasha.

There are some slight textures differences and six-spoke wheels vs 5-spoke on the Warehouse model, but it does look like the main model came from this one – http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=ddd0facd4eb6d51f412761f2323258&prevstart=0

Easy, just my models are too big that can’t be uploaded onto the Vidia
How much bigger are they? Would zipping them or translating them to STEP format help?
