Audi TT modélisée avec “Generative Shape Design” et “Imagine & Shape” donc entièrement en surfacique.
Une cinquantaine de pièces au final avec un assemblage de plus de 100Mo.
Assemblage importé dans 3dsMax pour le .3ds et capturé avec 3dPrintScreen dans Catia pour le .3dxml.

Catia V5 vers 3dsMax !? C’est possible ? Comment ?

So this in 3DS Max, then you captured it with 3DVIA PrintScreen, and made the final edits in Catia?

hey i have downloaded that model but its nt open on my pc. i have 3dmax 9 soft. but its could nt able 2 open in that. wat i do ?

The model is fully Catia V5. In Catia i have make the PrintScreen.
Catia to 3dsMax : i export in IGS, STL, WRL…
In 3dsMax, i make the .3ds.

To open a .3ds in Max : “file”, ‘import”…

Download the .3ds File. In 3dsMax go to import menu. That’s all.

yah but when i import it it opens an error and all the windows close:S

Nice model! How many polygons are there?

In the tab “Stats” : 186000 polygons but it’s after compression. Originaly it’s 800000 polygons.
