On the Admiral Peck Class mkIII the triton engine boosters ,like the neptune engines, fuse interstellar hydrogen into deuterium and helium but due to the greater compression of gas they can burn hotter. If they are run for more than 30 seconds at a time they will overheat and cease functioning, for this reason the triton engines are only used to provide extra power on top of what the neptunes can provide.The neptune engines produce 2.4×10^17 watts(calculated from E=0.5mv^2) each which can propel the fighter to 0.5xlightspeed in 2 minutes.The fighter is fitted with the standard british hyperspace system which works by creating a bubble in space time in which the fighter can travel faster than light relative to the rest of the universe but slower than light relative to itself.It has basic crew facilities for its pilot including life support in the rear. The fighter can outrun almost anything that can outgun it whilst anything that can outrun it is nowhere near as well protected. It can be flown in deep space, orbit or in an atmosphere making it very versatile, it can land,take off and enter orbit under its own power ,its wings can be folded up(main wings to 175 degrees rear ones to 140) so it can be stored in small spaces such as fighter bays onboard frigates. This is one of my favourite models and it is very detailed, this obj version has landing gear as separate parts that can fold up and lower.
