Zombie1974 at the 3D Warehouse provided this sweet little hopped up bug – http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=bccf69e2dd7de293ab2c2809513f396e&prevstart=12 – ignore the messed up textures in the thumbnail and give it a look. It’s a fun ride!
It’s a very good buggie
Yeah, Zombie1974 did a really good job. Our family had a 1962-3 Beetle and we all loved it, but it was sold due to family finances.
But our main ride was a 1957 Chevy Bel Air station wagon, which was way cool (except it only had the “Blue Flame Six”). I had fantasies of fixing that problem once the car was mine, but that never happened. :(
The split was my favorite model.
incidentally there’s another ‘split’ window car which no one’s taking about… which happens to be one of my favorite… :)

I totally agree Abu! That has always been a favorite of mine as well! I always like them in a light metallic blue with slightly wider than stock tires (no whitewalls!) and any wheels (just about) except the ones that look like the thousand slices of death. :)
