The pictures & Plans I found for this ship had contradictions so I “cherry picked” What looked best to me! So historical accuracy is not to be found here!

I meant to vote on this when you first uploaded it – thanks for making a comment to remind me. Wonderful model! Historians will be arguing forever over the details, so thanks for going ahead and doing it anyway :D

The ocean surface is particularly nice, with just enough form and a great texture! (Of course, that very same ocean was to be the Monitor’s undoing eventually).

great model Michael (toymaker) & I particularly liked the water texture you used as when I zoom in closer to water surface it looks like I can touch water. used that. Also the detailing is really good…
