And that's what you're supposed to do ! ;-)<br /> <br /> To scan 3D models, all you need is :<br /> -a webcam<br /> -a laser (starting at 15€ I think)<br /> -a printer and some paper.<br /> -the software, available online for free.<br /> <br /> You have to build the "corner" (see http://www.david-laserscanner.com/ ) yourself : basically it's just two planes, but they must have an exact 90° angle..<br /> A cheap solution is to use walls, or a drawer (that's what I did) ; you can print and stick / glue the pattern ok it.<br /> <br /> Just take a look at this :<br /> http://www.david-laserscanner.com/wiki/user_manual/getting_started<br /> this is far from being complicated in the beginning.
