Another idea for you. Since you have the modeling part down to science you might want to look into UV mapping and making texture templates. So for this model you could add a bit of rust here and there, numbers on the instruments and and maybe worn looking seat cushions. Just another level of detail but I can tell detail is no stranger to you. The free DAZ Studio, Cararra or Bryce programs would allow you to import a basic 3DS model and add anything you like. They would also allow you to animate most of your models and create realistic environments such as the ocean to operate in. Sadly no one program seems to be able to do it all.

thanks for the comment.. anxd yea seat cusins would be great since the only seat is the one for the driver.. i have made many models using photo realistic pictures and maybee it will add something extra to the model but i lately also try to keep the file size down and those extra details costs a lot in size... i started out using textures but slowly i stopped using them and only use colors... regards smike
