		&lt;p&gt;Do you use blueprints to make your aircrafts? I use blueprints but that is because SketchUp has a scale tool with nodes that can deform.&lt;/p&gt;

		&lt;p&gt;no I use 1:35 plastic kits and then I measure the parts. Some are aonly available as 1:48 plastic kit, so they have to be scaled to 1:35 (aprox). Planes and helicopters are usually available in1:32, whereas tanks and trucks are available in 1:35. So the 3D models are somewhere inbetween :)

you said, you use blueprints. where do get those from?&lt;/p&gt;
