too good.... 5 stars for this one... but it's already close to 2mb... if you want it to be reused more, you should offer something more lighter :) nevertheless good job...

Abu..This one is a very simple design. Only thing is that I have used a texture so I have no idea how did it become a size of 1.9mb. Any guesses?? Any tip to reduce the size?

This is a very nice facet set. The addition of an aerator at the end of the spout (common here in the US to keep the stream of water from being too harsh) would be a good detail. As far as the size of the model, I would only ask if you patterned each extension on one handle and then patterned the whole handle to the other side? I would guess that you did :) The textures are good, especially for a bathroom or kitchen setting.

As I have read, usually it is either textures or spheres that make the file sizes large. Either there is a sphere we can't see, or your textures are too big.

@Don..your guesses are correct. I made one extension then pattern it. Can you please add a reference link (jpg) to understand how it will look if I add an aerator at the end of the spout. One more question.. If we reduce the scale of the model (from 1 to 0.5) is there anyway file size decreases?

That's good that you patterned all that you could. Try this - http://www.rd.com/images/tfhimport/2002/Oct02_You_Can_Fix_It/20021001_You_Can_Fix_It_page001img002.jpg - for more detail on faucet aerators than you'll ever want to know. Reducing the scale is an interesting question! I haven't heard of anyone trying that. If you do and it works, let me know :) In the ancient days of CAD we would often put big models inside of a simple box, which somehow made the file smaller so we could email it to each other. The person on the other end knew to delete the box to see the model :)

i checked it... its not because of textures... it is the surfaces that are increasing the size... if you go to vertex/wireframe mode you see how dense it is...
