Very nice job. The detail of the little droplets makes a big difference. Check out sady2's "Water Glass" model - http://www.3dvia.com/sady2/models/9670F98C9EB08294 - for another way of approaching it.

a container could help, adding a background sort of... and progressive decreasing size of waves creates some sense of reality, however the intersection of waves and horizontal surface could be more smooth... http://weblogs.newsday.com/news/local/longisland/politics/blog/water.jpg

abu,that picture gave me idea... but this looks like a fluid with the viscosity of the honey,not water,since it has no recipient to stay in and the edges stay in the air and the 3dvia shape's water texture is not the best,try something like my..ahem,don's ultramarine blue,made in photoshop,with 50% opacity(or 50% transparency)...

I agree that 3dvia water texture is not the best one available around but I again say that my highlight is the water effects so I did not put any container or anything else to support. Also this one can be used by other users in their modeling. But surely I will b checking the model reference you mentioned if the textures to help myself finding a good texture..Can you provide me a hyperlink to these model as I am not able to get them by searching model name...

Sady there are few things that I guess you have missed out noticing.. If you drop honey it will splash but it will not create waves like this one shown in model because of high density than water. Check carefully you will notice that progressive decreasing size of waves (number of rows created) which can only be created on water. Also the height of splash created cannot be created with drops of honey. You can check that by little experiment. Can you provide a link to find the texture you have mentioned...

@XQH_XXX: i think what sady was trying to convey was the 'fluidity' of the model does not come thru very well... he gets a feeling of the liquid being very viscous 'LIKE' honey (exagerrating a bit more) :) @Sady: since this model was created in Shape, i'm sure you'd understand it would be difficult to model the 'fluidity' as depicted in the jpeg link... the un-even splash thing...
