Another beauty! One of my long-time favorite aircraft too! Thanks for the history link and especially for the design/construction/modeling process link. It really is helpful to see how you go about making your models.

wow you just make so great details also in your models just love them has first seen now all the aircraft models you have uploaded.. each one of them a master piece.. you must like i do have to study the actual aircraft a lot to make these nice details.. have you noticed that even when you have researched and studyed a model for some time you suddely can discover a detail you completly had over looked or suddely see the object or detail in a completly new look which changes the meaning you had of it completly.. like my s 76 models in the front of them they all have 2 antenners (i thought) just suddely yester day i discovered that it was not antenners but handles to a front hatch....

smike - you are so right! It is the details that make it right and give a lot of satisfaction to know that you got it right, but there is always something more... thanks guys, too much honor for me... :) @smike: In terms of details. My sources are usually 1:35 plastic kits and whatever I find on the web. so usually i try to make a basic model, whith "all" elements that are valid for all variants (as far as I can tell). then I add "application assemblies" with the parts that are valid for one specific variant. Examples you can see here: http://picasaweb.google.com/alfredeix/OH6?feat=directlink this is "docu" for designing the OH-6 helicopter or here for the C-130 Hercules: http://picasaweb.google.com/alfredeix/C130?feat=directlink For the OH6 my way of doing it, is not correct, becasue the whole body changed when they introduced the 5 blade main rotor (this was when they started calling this helicopter "Hughes 500". So this was a point, where i did not want to do the whole body again, becasue there were already other projects in my mind. but yes, i had these points of no return before :), but hey: how many people will notice ;-)

The construction "web albums" are fantastic! What a great way for all of us to learn from each other. It's always hard to remember afterwards, but it seems you have a great process for documenting your process. Excellent!!
