Hey dude, there is something seriously wrong with this model. It is very sluggish and is impossible to view because of this. Hope you find out what it is.

Hi Matt...

I don't have any idea. Frankly speaking I have a problem too...
But I can open the image.... I used Sketch Up and transfer to kmz ( google ) .. I have transferred to 3D Paint was definitely better.. but 3DVIA couldn't read the file... thank ' s Matt....

I think it is all the grass that is causing the slow down. Everything is o.k. until the grass comes into view.

Well, it is official, the grasses you have in the luau model has too much detail. I suggest you tone it down or use different grass. Good luck.

Both the grass and those beautiful palm trees are very high poly. If possible, you can try to move some of the complexity of the models into textures. Grass and tree leaves can be done nicely using transparent textures. These trees are not as beautiful as yours, but they illustrate my point:

In any event, I didn't see any part of the challenge that was tied to how well your model rendered in the 3DVIA player, and I'm willing to put up with some sluggishness to explore your model.

The fact that the challenge mentioned creating an entire luau scene was bound to put some stress on the player :)

I must admit, Mine Is also a slight bit sluggish as well.
