Imperial Carrier - Model 409 for Starship Pirates
The galactic empire doesn't do anything small.
This ship is almost 600 meters long. It can carry a full compliment of fighters.
The ship is armed with 12 missle launchers and 18 directed energy weapons.
The ship does have one disadvantage. It was design for seige warfare against a planet as part of a battle group. It is not maneuverable. The onboard weapons are not effective against small targets (like a fighter) unless it accidentally hits one. Also, with the landing zones in the front, retreiving fighters before retreating makes for a slow escape.

Checked out your site - how is the game going, I would love to see a demo

Still in the early stages of development. I'm starting with what I consider the hardest part...the design of the 3d models. I am currently working on a 3D model for one of the levels.
I have a very basic demo right now that just allows the user to move forward, backward, up, down, left, right and turn. I was planning on releasing a demo once I could shoot a single enemy. But that might be a while.
