4 stars for an excellent model that is very nicely detailed. I suspect that you were bitten by SolidWorks decals/textures/materials not being translated into the 3DXML file so that your watch is faceless. Progress is being made towards fixing that.

Holy cow! That’s a gorgeous rendering! Right now; all SolidWorks models being converted to 3DXML use an older version of the translator, which, as far as I know, does not support transparency either. We are working towards having an onsite sutomatice re-translation of uploaded SolifWorks 3DXML files to the newer version. I can’t say yet when that will be or whether it will solve the transparency problem. Stay tuned.

I hope you enjoy the site! Feel free to comment as needed – pro and con – both help us get better.

Thansk for the comment.Actually the whole thing is modeled, no decals. you could see all the face and hands detail if the cover was actually transparent as in my rendered veiws. this is what it should look lik…copy/paste this…

“Holy cow!” i’ve never had any of my work described like that before.

Thanks for the comment, great hearing positive feedback.

This is my first shot at rendering. Ive been working on the model and render in my lunch breaks at work and a little when i get home at night.
