I’ve been a guitar player for over 25 years, and I also made a few guitars myself. This is a very good strat (and I know my strats). Ive made over 250 3D models of guitars, and in my opinion the stratocaster body is the hardest to pull off… you did Leo proud :)

Hey check out this 3D model I did. It’s a model of Yngwie malmsteen’s “Play Load” Fender stratocaster guitar.

It’s probably my favorite model I’ve ever done.

Great comment sandman14! I’m glad that you like it too; since I’m no guitar expert, but it does seem like jesterv2 did a really good job.

@dswavely, where I said “you did Leo proud” I meant Leo Fender. He was one of the most innovative guitar designers of all time, and yet he couldn’t play one note on a guitar… That’s amazing!, imagine being a car builder and not knowing how to drive, and being the best car builder in the world :)

@sandman14 – that’s what I thought you meant, I was only pointing out that I was glad you backed me up, since I’m not an expert :D

That is amazing about Leo! There was a great guitar show at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts a few years back (one of my sons has played for years and has 5 guitars, so we went for his sake) and I ended up being totally blown away by the way the electric guitar in just the last few decades has completely changed the musical scene of the world’s culture!

Thank goodness for genius in all of its forms!

great guitar!
I actually did a model too that is close to the Fender Guitar
(It’s a Fender but with some modifications)

But i’m not an expert at electric guitars like Sandman :)

@jackred, Wow, That’s like a 9 string telecaster with 5 pickups and about 100 frets! There’s this really good guitarist by the name of Ronni Lè Tekrø (from the band TNT) that had a guitar that he made himself that was called a the half stepper. it was a guitar that had frets between the frets that where already on the neck. This made a guitar that had 22 frets have 44 frets. Anyway, this guitar kind of reminded me of that.

@sandman Cool! I didn’t know there was already a 9 string guitar :-|
that model has 115 frets (it was hard to make them all, especially when i had to make it with some specific distances between them)
this is actually a patented guitar from an American girl who told me to create a 3D model for her :)
So maybe this guitar will be nearly available for purchase :D
