This is the Assault Cannon for my Space Marine Land Speeder from Warhammer 40,000. Its almost done :), I like to tinker with it every now and then and add more detail. The landspeeder itself is still about 60% complete.
Assaut Cannons fire Bolt Shells. Bolts are self propelled, explosive warheads, think miniaturized automatic grenade launcher or mini rocket launcher.
I actually calculated the caliber of the rounds, and they are measured to exact milimeters, the gun technically works. Its mounted underneath the land speeders forward section on an articulated mount.
A Land Speeder is a Fast Attack/Recon Skimmer or hover vehicle. 2 person Crew in full armor, twin turbines powering this little package of destruction.
And this model is usable in Shape!
that is an awsome weapon! (wouldent it be nice to have one of those? think of all of the fun things you could do…)

nice, what about creating the legs section? and then the top section and an misile box or an big arm

a large box in a side would be good.i don’t think that the ammi present in the belt would feed that beast more than 0.39 seconds
Look at the pictures Sady, the weapon is fed from inside the landspeeder.
change also the description.shape 2.0 is far old
and where is that speeder?
On my “3d work” drive :O) I haven’t given myself the time to finish it, working on big model for Siggraph right now.
