Can you use finished 3DVia files on the ipad some how?

I want to be able to interact with an .SMG file that I made in 3DVia Composer. Not just one view of the 3d model. I want to be able to click on hot spots and link/change to other views. Or play an animation that was made in 3DVia composer. Is this possible in some form or with some other app, or be implemented in the future.
I've heard that you can use 3dvia with touch screen devices but would that mainly be for a windows based computer with a touch screen on it?Posted 2 years ago # -
It is true that you can use 3DVIA Shape with touch screen monitors as well as veiwing product models on your iPhone / iPad.
Currently 3DVIA Composer player does not export to mobile devices as of yet, but we have had internal discussion on bringing this functionality to our users and we are hopeful to bring this capability to you in a near future release.Posted 2 years ago # -
I too was expecting that the 3DVia HD app for iPAD was going to display/play my existing Composer files. Is this not the benefit of the application? If not, I need to pursue a refund on the app and monthly storage fee that I just signed up for. What is my option as I am trying to demo value to my management.

3DVIA Mobile is a display tool for models on your 3DVIA Account.
@fawzi No it is not a sculpting tool or a draw tool.
@merdank 3DVIA Mobile is the base application, we currently have multiple teams working on increasing the functionality already present, one team is 3DVIA Composer, and they are very close to releasing their mobile solutions. So while currently you can use 3DVIA Mobile to display your products, soon you will be able to have more Composer functionality available on your iOs device.

Hi, Can i run my 3dvia virtools vmo on ipad? with help of any player if possible??Also is there any different method to create an application which will work on touchscreen, i have created an application using mouse clicks as input device but while running that on a touch screen (single and multi touch both) gives me a very weird movement. I have already escalated this with regional support team but could not get answers. Pls support.

No release dates available yet, the teams are working **** their tasks but we will always try to release when the product is ready, not hard coded release dates. I also can't get a "percentage complete" number due to the variables involved with the first version of new software. Rest asured that when its ready, there will be copious announcements!

Good to read there will be some progress in the future for interactive Composer files;
I also would really like .... a ability to open LOCAL files!!! the online database is nice...but not for business models...
