Hi, I am trying to upload a file from Google Earth and keep getting this message
(Invalid V4.0 for googleearth.exe_Sun_Apr_22_22-53-57_2012.3dxml:cvc-elt.5.2.2.2.2: The value '3.0' of element 'SchemaVersion' does not match the {value constraint} value '4.0'. at 4,35)
Does anyone have any idea what I might be doing wrong...Thanks

I assume you made it with Printscreen, right? Did you edit the file in any way, in any players? Such as GLC Player?
I am thinking maybe jdelrio or another person who knows what the error code means might be able to help you.

Did you try the basic uploader? It's on the new uploader page, on the bottom left. Sometimes the file uploads properly but somehow the new uploader causes it to fail.
It would be nice if some devs would help me out

Tomy's suggestion is a good one. Let us know if the basic uploader does not work.
From the error message you provided, it sounds like there is a mismatch of 3dxml schema versions. I will ask around see what I find out.

Hi, I tried the basic version and managed to upload what I would guess is a portion of the Earths surface by the shape of it but the models did not come with it...all the texture images and other google earth info relating to the models was there, just no buildings. I removed everything from the surroundings to keep the file to 10mb.

Make sure the buildings are in the printscreen when you printscreen it. Make sure everything you want is visible on the screen. Everything that wasn't on the screen is typically hidden.
