I would like to create a 2D polyhedral shape as a result of a computation (not pre-defined). Is this possible?

    Hi,

To me, you can compute a (let's say) polyhedral-like texture at runtime (with transparency where it's needed) but the items of type vkNode2D are basically rectangles and there's no chance this will change, I guess.

I may have misunderstood the question but unfortunately it seems it's not available in 3DVIA Studio

Yes, dealing with a vkNode2D with proper texture (including transparency) would work for me. Remains though the question of how to create (or modify) the texture in VSL at runtime so it looks as I need. Any help?

    Hello mave,

Sorry for answering late, I attached a project as example but - according to Figolu (who's nice, clever, so muscled - rhô - but also really good at helping on 3DVIA Studio) - you should use a texture of type vkProceduralTexture and access its image in order to create/modify in VSL at runtime your textures.

We admit that's really not an easy way to do it, let's say it's a workaround and that it will be better handled soon

    Hopes it helps
