    Hi All,
I've created a quick wire simulation based on a dynamic "chain" : 5 vkDynamics objects linked together using vkDynHinge joints. (I then use the objecyts positions to update a 3D curve's control points, that makes a convinving twisting spaghetti)
It works fine with an open chain - a fixed starting objects and free dynamic linked balls .
But when I close the loop - when both ends of the wire are fixed - , it behaves strangely. like joints have a stiffness or something; the intermediate free nodes are not totally free and it does not give a free chain.
and seems that making the end node"fixed" also makes the prvious nose alreday liked fixed in space.
    Any idea ?

    Hi,

Could you post your project here ?

Here's the latest - both ends are fixed. notice that "sphere node 4" (before the last node) is free to rotate, but seems fixed , although its dynamic motion is "dynamic".
