Is there a way to change the units from meters to feet and inches?....

There is a way to do this and I forget! Think it has to do with the grid tools (press G)

Change Grid Units
You can use the Grid Options tool to change the units of measurement and grid spacing.
Click Grid Options
In the contextual help bar at the top, select the metric or US system of units.
Grid spacing is indicated far right in the toolbar at the bottom of your window.
The grid size automatically changes as you zoom in or out.
Notes:
When publishing or saving your 3D model, grid orientation and units are preserved.
You can undo and redo changes to grid options.Found in the 3dvia Shape Documentation...they have everything there
