My New 3DS Max 2011 won't initialize the "Max toVirtools.dle" exporter. I went to the Tavea site and lownloaded the new Max 2011 exporters. In fact, I tried both the normal 5.0.0. 8 Beta version and also tried the more recent Colada version from Tavea. Max 2011 could not intialize either one. Quote: "The specified module could not be found." And, yes, each time the DLE. plug-ins were in the proper plug-in folder each time 3DS Max tried to initialize. Never had this peculiar problem in past versions of Virtools Max exporters. I sent the index.file to Tavea, but have not heard back. However, they did send me some exporter product that they wanted me to buy. Anyone have any suggestions ?? Paul ...............

Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the exporter, available here:
http://www.tavae.com/site/downloads/exporters/Max%20To%20Virtools%205.0.0.118.exeIf the exporter does not get registered within 3dsMax, it is highly possible that you have an outdated version of DirectX, or that the DirectX installation has bee corrupted in some way. Please could you do the following:
* Go to this web-page: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=3b170b25-abab-4bc3-ae91-50ceb6d8fa8d
* Click on the "Download" button
* The download should start automatically. If not, click on the "Start Download" link.
* When asked, choose "Save as...", and save the download to a location you can find again.
* Once the file is downloaded, either double-click it, or choose "Run" from your browser's download window.
* Follow the instructions for installing DirectX.Once done, try to restart Max. If all goes well, the plugin should now be registered.
If this still does not work, we would be grateful if you could send us the latest "install.log" file (to be found in the same folder as the installer) to bugs_exporter@tavae.com.

hey i hv downloaded the latest maya to virtool for 2011. but the problem is as i export the character i have created , maya gets unexpectedly shut and shows an error message that a software problem has caused autodesk maya to shut down. can you please help me and tell if the problem is with the maya or the exporter.
