in this original design i wanted to introduce a somewhat older concept of and engine actually embedded inside the wheel itself, powered by an alternator (the large round machine close to the rear wheel) connected to the batteries inserted in the mid-section of the frame. The front wheel is not powered, but it still spins by means of an array of cylindrical buffers that can act as brakes when electrically charged in the same way as an electric magnet. Ho who am i kidding? I could rave on and on about all this without the least bit of engineering foundation or knowledge, i was just sick of high gas prices i guess and wanted to imagine something useful... :-)
