It’s really boring looking, but no matter how many times I change it to the Fresnel shader and save the settings, it doesn’t save. So, please take a minute to open it and change it manually (and click on the anti-aliasing button) to get an idea of the amazing shapes that can be created so easily.

Yes, this looks to be the best improvement to Shape yet. I am going to download it, now that I have my PC restored again. (Had to format & re-install the OS) :-(

I’m sorry that you had to suffer through all of that! When my three sons were younger I had to do that several times after “I didn’t do anything…honest”.
I hope you enjoy 3DVIA Shape 3.0 as much as I do – or more. :D

@Omind – that’s even worse! Coincidentally my SolidWorks laptop just went into MS hell two days ago – diagnosis – save the data and start over – sounds familiar huh?
@sady – no, I haven’t forgotten, I’m several posts behind because of my father passing away and my wife’s hip operation. Was up much of the night with her again last night. The next one will be out soon.

Don, it opened using the Fresnel shader for me. I think this is only working in IE due to a bug in the Virtools player. What browser are you using?
This would be a nice addition to the abstract shape group btw…
Matt – yes, it does work in IE – thanks! And I did add it to the abstract shape and 3DVIA Shape group. Thanks for the reminder.
