One note to the colors.
By the time the Co-hog toys came out, the German police cars where green and white. Now the green is replaces by blue (since a few years)
But it is a cute car indeed :)

I looked at a bunch of Google images and saw both the green and white and the blue and white, so I went with what I remembered from my last trip to Germany (1986). Now I can call this the “classic” version and make another one for today’s cars. :)

A lot of American police cars use the high contrast scheme of doors and roof being white with the rest of the car a dark color, which helps them to stand out in emergency situations.

More and more departments seem to be switching to stripes and other less costly alternatives. Everybody likes to be different.

Our cars are blue, white, and red as well.

you are right, well sort of. Now police cars are actually silver (basic) and blue (sorry I was wrong about the white)
The last “Generation” was silver and green.
and I think before that they were white and green.
