I think you made the Gewehr 43G series rifle, and it also looks like you beveled alot if not all of the edges of the rifle with very small value of spread making the rifle still seem boxy but now has alot more faces to deal with. For a low poly model, if you have to bevel use it only at value 1, and then go back and soften the edges with smoothing groups or normal tools. Good job texturing though, really good job.
