This is the structure of the F-14 tomcat that fits the external shapes of the aircraft (see my other 3d model), it is also designed to take into account the external components integration.
A lot of elements have been reverse-engineered (at their original position) from books, photos and documentations analysis, the other have been added for structural strenght.
It is designed to be the reference assembly to build the structure of a flying scale model aircraft. The size (depth) of structure elements has been adapted to the model materials for mechanical strength of the (target) scaled model (with scaled the structure). All other dimensions of the 3d model are designed at full scale, and as close as possible to the original aircaft geometry (compared with photos of the aircraft).

Each modeler controls their own models and it is their choice to allow downloads or not. I would guess that bulouis has hundreds of hours invested in this model and won’t just give it away. Try sending him a private message and start a conversation.
To send him a private message, just click on his user name next to his “picture” to the right of the model. That will take you to his home page and again look below his “picture” to see the ways you can connect with him – including “send a message”.

oh my god, I thought his other F14 model is great. But this one beats everything. Second to none!!! Spend some time on the landing gear, no matter front or main. they are extremely well detailled. holy smoke!!! 5 Stars for sure.
